Properties and Preparation of Ceramic Fiber

        Ceramic material is one of the three solid materials nowadays.Ceramic fiber is an important kind of ceramic material,so it has 

been paid more and more attention.Ceramic fiber is a new type of fibrous light refractory material.Its preparation methods mainly

 include melt spinning method,sol-gel method,vapor deposition method,electrospinning method and so on.Ceramic fiber has the 

advantages of light weight,high temperature resistance and good chemical stability,so it is mainly used in thermal insulation 

materials,high temperature thermal insulation materials,catalyst carrier materials and so on.In this paper,the properties and everal 

typical preparation methods of ceramic fibers are briefly described,and several kinds of important ceramic nanofibers are reviewed 

in detail.
