According to the different shapes of mineral processing, it is suitable for processing minerals (mica, graphite, asbestos, etc.) with flake and needle like particles. The particles in these shapes are difficult to pass through the sieve.
Magnetic separation is to use the difference of magnetic conductivity of minerals. For example, Fe, Ni, CO and their compounds are easily attracted by magnets, while many refractory minerals are not attracted by magnets. Electromagnetic separation is often used to remove iron impurities from refractory materials.
